My Story
My personal journey has proven to be a richer source of insight for helping others than any formal training or education I've received. In my youth, I miraculously survived a 150-foot cliff fall, confronted my minister father for sexual abuse, and navigated the foster care system before emancipating myself at 17. These experiences ignited within me a profound hunger for emotional intelligence and the path to reclaiming one's authentic self.
Struggling to find solace in conventional therapy sessions or a culture lacking in grieving rituals, I embarked on a global journey, immersing myself in diverse cultures, both ancient and contemporary. For decades, I've facilitated transformative experiences for women, participated in sacred ceremonies on native lands, and guided others through profound rituals.
Before birthing three children, one of whom I tragically lost after three years, I found solace and strength atop Mount Shasta as a solo female mountaineering guide. Despite enduring divorce and single parenthood, I've stood resilient, gaining sole custody of my children and building a successful business and home through homeschooling and homesteading.
Throughout these trials, I've held steadfast to the belief that within each of us lies the innate ability to navigate life's toughest challenges. We possess the capacity to grieve, endure pain, and embrace our humanity. Yet, there are moments when we may feel stuck and in need of guidance, mentorship, or direction.

My Story
I'm Deborah Wilder, an author, environmental activist, and advocate for holistic wellness. My journey towards sustainability and conservation began amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Oregon, instilling in me a deep reverence for nature and its interconnectedness with human health and well-being.
I embarked on a mission to not only protect our planet but also to promote harmony between mind, body, and environment. This led me to explore the realm of holistic wellness, where I discovered the transformative power of rituals in healing and self-care.
One significant turning point in my journey was when I had the opportunity to collaborate with Victoria Markham, a renowned herbalist and wellness expert. Together, we co-founded Ritual Therapeutics, a platform dedicated to integrating ancient healing practices with modern sustainable living.
Victoria's expertise in herbal medicine and my background in environmental science created a synergy that fueled our shared mission. Through Ritual Therapeutics, we offer a range of products and practices that harness the healing properties of nature while prioritizing sustainability and ethical sourcing.
My partnership with Victoria has not only enriched my understanding of holistic wellness but also deepened my commitment to environmental advocacy. Together, we strive to inspire others to embrace a more conscious and compassionate way of living—one that honors the well-being of both individuals and the planet.
In addition to our work with Ritual Therapeutics, I continue to advocate for environmental conservation through writing, speaking engagements, and grassroots activism. Each endeavor is driven by a shared vision of a world where humans coexist harmoniously with nature, nurturing a thriving planet for future generations.
In both my professional and personal pursuits, I remain committed to the belief that by cultivating mindfulness, compassion, and stewardship, we can create a more sustainable and balanced world for all beings.
